Strawberry shortcake is the easiest dessert. It’s fresh and reminds me of summer. This is a classic strawberry shortcake that are made with biscuits.
4 cups of strawberries cut into ¼ inch cuts
2 tablespoons of sugar
- Place 2 cups of the strawberries into a bowl, and mash them with a potato masher or fork. This will help the strawberries to macerate.
- Add the rest of the strawberries.
- Add the sugar and mix and a squeeze of lemon.
- Place in the fridge for as little as 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
